Poor kid. If I was rudely woken up and people started laughing at me and taking pictures, well I'd be ticked for sure! Awww I sure love this little guy. Light of my freakin life, seriously.
But Jace isn't the only grumpy pants around right now. I have been a little bit of a wreck lately, to put it nicely. When I had Jace I never really had any emotional breakdowns or depression or any of that stuff, which was a total relief. But I feel like my hormones are all out of whack lately, and I'm not sure why... I think a lot of it is as it's nearing time for me to go back to work it's causing me to freak out a little. I'm wayyyy stressing leaving Jace!
To boot, Dan and I have been staying out at his sister Jenny's house this week. She and her husband took off for a week long trip to Canada, and I volunteered us to watch her girls while they are gone. She has a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Plus I have my Jace. This has been an eye opening experience, one that makes me very aware that I do not want 3 kids under the age of 4! Heck, I might not want three kids at all. Maybe I'll just stick with Jace!
But really, I do love these girls. They are good girls! Jenny is my bestie and I sooooo admire her and all she does. She has 4 year old Lexi, who has a disablity, 2 year old Shae and Bridger boy who is only 3 weeks older then Jace. (They did take Bridger with them to Canada.) But just being a new mom, I'm not going to lie this has been a rough week so far. I'm very much looking forward to getting back to my life when they get home!
At Aunt Jenny's house Jace loves laying under...this thing. What do you even call these things? I have no idea, but I should find out and invest in one for my little man. He's a big fan.
Love.
PS I'm sooooo glad I have Dan around to put up with me through my being a mess. He's the best.
Cute little guy! I love your family pics too. you look great! :)
