Happy Monday ya'all

Weekends are the best. Can I get an AMEN?!

What's that you say? You want a play by play of our weekend? Oohhh okay, you asked for it.

This weekend Jace stayed in these pj's all weekend long, other than the one time we went out to dinner. Changed him into clothes for dinner, put him right back in his pj's after.

We watched two fabulous tear-jerker movies (not on the same night, mind you) that I still can't stop thinking about! Warrior and The Help. Both highly recommended by mwah.

Dan put 12 hours straight into installing a new railing for mi madre. Turned out AWESOME! If you haven't noticed, my husband can do everything. He's ah-MAZ-ing.

I watched my super talented kid sister in her Youth Shakespeare play. I wish I was as pretty and talented as her!

Football. NFL Championship games are the best, yeah? Lots of popcorn and cheering while watching tight pants on a big flat screen tv. Can't wait for the Superbowl!

Jace popped another tooth. That's a grand total of five now people. Five teeth! Isn't it great that I get to be excited about such little things?

And last but not least, we finally had to lower the crib. Caught Jace standing up after his nap, getting ready to take the plunge to the floor. (Good thing for video monitors!)

And now it's Monday. Time to catch up on laundry, clean the house, get Jace out of those weekend pj's and get prepared for the week!

Don't worry. Only five more days until the weekend again.

  1. I love weekends too. The only thing I don't like about them is that they always go by too fast.

I'm about too the point where I have to put my 18 month old into a toddler bed. You think lowering the crib is bad... just wait until you find them laying on top of the crib (with it lowered) about to fall out. I hate it when they learn to climb out, because then I lose some control over them. I know.. that sounds bad... wanting to control my kid. But it is so much harder to get them to stay in their room and go to sleep when they can get out of their bed. At least he can't open doors yet. :)
