This CRAZY little thing called LIFE

9/02/2010
Just some of the things I have felt this past month: overwhelmed, excited, anxious, blessed, scared, loved, worried, humbled, distressed, comforted, and overjoyed. Time has been dragging so slowly, I feel like it's been a YEAR already since we found out. (And I can't believe I've kept my mouth shut as long as I did!)

Ahhhh, right? Crazy! I know, believe me, I know...

Dan and I are very excited!!! We were also very surprised! But we appreciate the fact that the Lord works in his own time, and we know this is a huge blessing in our lives.

Just give me a second for a cheesy rant, the things I have been blessed and grateful for as of late: My number one always, I'm so grateful for ♥Dan♥ and how wonderful he's been to me. He's so excited and he puts up with my complaining about being sick so well! (I really do complain a lot... But come on, feeling sick all day everyday is hard! And I sure get tired of having to eat all the time!) I honestly could not have married someone more perfect for me. I'm so excited to start a family with the love of my life! I'm also SO grateful for my sweet mom. She has been such a huge comfort and source of strength and well needed good advice! I'm so grateful for The Gospel, for the strength I am given in my life that I don't deserve, for answers to my prayers, for love from family and good friends.

Pheww.

SO here I am, 10 weeks along! We are due March 27th, and we will find out in November what we are having. (Dan is just sure it's a boy.) We had our first ultrasound two weeks ago and it was amazing. Hearing the hearbeat was so surreal! This little peanut is growing inside of me:

Overall the preganancy so far hasn't been too rough, compared to others I've heard about. But I am pretty discouraged by the fact that I'm only 2 1/2 months along yet I already have a hard time sucking in my little tummy! Luckily I've always been a regular gym goer, so working out during pregnancy is a yes. (I can't wait until the nausea goes away so I can work out more!)

And yes, I will give in and take pictures as my belly gets bigger because I heard I would regret it if I don't. Here's me at 10 1/2 weeks:

I made sure to take this on a day I couldn't suck in. See, there it is! I call it my "pooch".

Well there you go, our life with a happy little new twist! I will keep you updated as we go.

On another note, we just got home from a nice 5 day weekend in Lake Powell. I had never been to Lake Powell before, it is gorgeous! We had so much fun!

Good times!

Well that's all for now folks. Love you all!
