Yesterday we returned from our yearly winter getaway with the in laws in bear lake. Just in time for the snowstorm of the century, might I add. The only thing wrong with our lovely weekend was how short it turned out to be. And do you see that sad little pile of pictures up there? I am losing my annoying ability to take a thousand pictures a day! What is happening?! Had I taken the appropriate amount of pictures, you would have seen: pool time, peanut butter m&m's, 16+ adults and kids crammed into a small condo for meal times, lots of laughing, mister J refusing to play with the cousins, an iron man costume, sledding, mint oreos and so much more.

And of all things, my being sick didn't end up putting any sort of damper on the vacay. Funny how sometimes you actually sleep better when you're not in your own bed. And when I say sometimes, I mean this is the first time that has ever happened to me.

And anyway, we're home now. Back to the dreary snow and real life. Although, today has been pretty great if I do say so myself. First I discovered Vine, and I fell in love with it. Another something to add to my ever-growing list of addictions! Second, we ran errands which included finally buying towel holders for all of our bathrooms. I won't even remind you how long we have gone without those. And also, lunch at Village Inn and my very first grown up grilled cheese sandwich! Did you know they have bacon AND tomatoes on those?? That's why they are for grown ups only, you see.

Oh, and third...or are we on fourth now? There are only 3 more days in this the longest and most miserable January in the history of Januarys. If that's not good news, well then I don't know what is! I swear to you, February has never in all my life been so appealing as it is now.

And last but certainly not least, my foggy head is clearing and I'm starting to breathe on my own without out alka-seltzer assistance today. Hallelujah!

Yes, I think this week looks like it will be grand.
