A week in pictures + Randomness

I love Fridays.

I'm sitting here trying to plan a fun adventure for us tonight, and I'm throwing out ideas like swimming in the hot springs or having a picnic up the canyon. That's why I love this time of year, the ideas of things to do on the weekends are pretty endless!

I'm fighting a head cold right now, and I have to say my immune system is doing a mighty fine job. I mean, I had a couple of rough mornings but today I feel like a new woman! I would gladly take a minute to brag about my freaking amazing immune system and the many days it has gotten me through, including that I've never had a flu shot nor the flu, but I'm the epitome of the phrase knock on wood in that if I brag about anything I get my A handed to me on a silver platter pretty dang quickly. So I won't go there.

{This is a family show so I capitalize letters instead of using swear words, which is really nice of me I like to think. Around here we are G rated, mostly.}

On another note, I have been itching to do some projects that make my home even cozier. I just made a slamming purchase for a steal of a deal on a barn table that I'm looking to fix up, and I'm kind of stoked to say the least. The hubs, he is leery but I don't blame him because 95% of the time when I say I'm going to do something, I don't do it. But this time I can feel a masterpiece coming! I can't wait to show you all.
